Providing the public, non-profit rescues, and humane societies with consistent availability of affordable spay and neuter services for dogs domestic cats, and feral cats.

Promoting continuation of care with local veterinary hospitals. Proudly partnering with select Whatcom County non profit organizations to provide a voucher/sponsorship program for those requiring financial assistance.

    *** Last Litter Program: Complimentary spay, rabies vaccination, and Revolution application for the mother cat if ALL kittens at weaning age are placed into the following local organizations Rescue Pet Vet, Alternative Humane Society, or the Whatcom Humane Society. Verification required.

Restrictions

Spay Neuter Northwest is a spay neuter exclusive clinic providing volume spay neuter services to healthy dogs and cats. Therefore, we have limitations and restrictions. SNNW reserves the right to deny service at any time based on these restrictions.

    General Restrictions:

  • Surgery is for HEALTHY dogs and cats only.
  • Any patient exhibiting symptoms of illness will be rescheduled.
    SNNW will not be expected to perform diagnostic testing and/or treatment.
  • No other surgical procedures (except umbilical hernia) will be accommodated. No exceptions.
  • All surgical patients will be sent home with pain medication. Exception for pediatric felines.
  • NO dogs in heat.
  • NO dogs or cats with advanced pregnancy.
  • Recommended public owned feline minimum age/weight: 4 months / 4 lbs.
  • Nonprofit rescue organization minimum feline age/weight: healthy and robust 2 months / 2 pounds. NO exceptions.
  • Public owned canine minimum age 6 months / maximum age 5 years
  • Canine strict minimum weight 5 lbs. / Maximum weight 80 lbs.
  • Unsure of your dog's weight? Please contact us and we can assist your with getting your dog weighed
  • SNNW supports and recommends current spay/neuter recommendations for large breed dogs. Owners of large breed dogs that choose to proceed with early spay/neuter will be required to provide acknowledgement that they have been informed that early spay/neuter may not be recommended for their dog.
